Frequently asked questions
How is the Vispring Devonshire Mattress finished by hand?
Its natural wool and viscose fillings are secured with expert hand-tufting. Protective wool upholstery, quality ticking, felt washers and hand side-stitching complete the construction.
How many pocket springs are in the king-size mattress?
The king-size Devonshire has 1,716 hand-nested Vanadium steel pocket springs, each held in a calico pocket.
Can a king-size version have different firmness on each side?
Yes. King-size mattresses are available with split firmness, so each side can have a different spring tension.
What kind of divan can I pair with this mattress?
It can be paired with a divan featuring a solid timber frame and pocket-spring construction. Divan styles include high, low, shallow, firm-edge and drawer options, with several height choices.
A generous layer of British fleece wool creates a comfortable, breathable sleep surface that gently contours to your body. Natural wool and viscose fillings are expertly hand-tufted with felt washers to help keep them secure, while the finest-quality ticking completes the mattress.
